Welcome to Year 1
Welcome to the Spring Term!
Year one have lots of exciting things planned including a visit to an art gallery and a visit from a pilot. We are continuing to work hard every day and we’re excited to share your child’s progress with you at Parents’ evening in March.

Cannon Hall Farm
Year One had a fabulous visit to Cannon Hall farm. Throughout the day they explored the farm and got to see lots of different farm animals. They had a guided tour of the farm and learnt lots about how the farm worked. They saw cows, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, goats and they were even lucky enough to see some baby piglets that had only just been born! They learnt all about how cows are milked and visited the reptile house.
Autumn Term
We are very excited to welcome your children and look forward to an exciting year of fun and learning.
Our main topics for this half term will be ourselves and other animals and we are fortunate to be going on an all day visit to Canon Hall Farm to learn more about farm animals and what is needed to care for them.
