Pupil Premium
School Funding and The Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium (PP) is an additional sum of money that is allocated to schools to support the learning of vulnerable groups of children. It is aimed specifically at supporting children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM); children looked after by the Local Authority (LAC) and children of armed forces personnel.
The intention of the funding is to increase progress and raise attainment of these pupils.
Every school is required to report, via its website, the amount of money received, how it is allocated and the impact it has.
