Vice Chair Governor - Mr Glenn Roper

Michelle Attmere

I am privileged to serve as a co-opted governor at Lee Mount Primary School and have done since 2.4.16 and Chair of the governing body since September 2016. I live and work in Calderdale and have two grown up children. I have worked for Calderdale Council for the past 10 years within the Children’s and Young Peoples Service and I am currently a Service Manager with responsibility for Early Years  and Childcare, Early Intervention, the Family Intervention Team and Children’s Centres. Previous to this I worked within Children’s Centre daycare provision in both Bradford and Leeds and prior to that was the owner/manager of a private day nursery.

Glenn Roper

I became a governor at Lee Mount in 2016. I have two children, both of whom attended Lee Mount primary school, as did my wife. We live in the catchment area for the school. I have now been involved in education for over 40 years, mostly as a teacher in secondary schools but also, for a short period, in the advisory service. Having connections with the school, an interest in education and in my local community, I did feel that I had something to offer the school and its community.  It is my desire to support the school in delivering a high quality education to the children who attend.
