Chair Governor - Mr Mark Woolley
Vice Chair Governor - Mr Glenn Roper
I’m currently working for Calderdale Council with many year’s experience in school finance, HR, and buildings matters. I’m married with two children that have gone through the education and university systems so I know what it’s like to want to support and give your child the best start in life. I love sport, in particular cycling and triathlon, and I’m a member of two such clubs where I encourage and support youngsters to enjoy the active lifestyle I’ve enjoyed.
I became a governor at Lee Mount in 2016. I have two children, both of whom attended Lee Mount primary school, as did my wife. We live in the catchment area for the school. I have now been involved in education for over 40 years, mostly as a teacher in secondary schools but also, for a short period, in the advisory service. Having connections with the school, an interest in education and in my local community, I did feel that I had something to offer the school and its community. It is my desire to support the school in delivering a high quality education to the children who attend.
