The teaching of Music is included on the curriculum overviews, though there is additional coverage to note. The school engages the LEA Music Hub to provide instrument tuition (currently violins) for all children in Year 3. A number of ‘Continuers classes’ are also catered for by the same tutor. In addition the school’s Music Co-ordinator holds a weekly ‘music skills’ assembly, and provides ongoing CPD and support for staff.
